NMD4C, MDC, and CSCN Announce Clinical Fellowship Funding Competition

The Neuromuscular Disease Network for Canada (NMD4C), Muscular Dystrophy Canada (MDC) and the Canadian Society of Clinical Neurophysiologists (CSCN) are proud to announce the launch of a funding competition to award three new national clinical fellowships in neuromuscular medicine and electromyography for the 2022/2023 academic year. With funding for three clinical fellowship positions with up to $76 500 (CAD) of salary support for one year, the award provides support for early-career clinicians to participate in a neuromuscular medicine and electromyography training program. These fellowships have been made possible by generous supporters of Muscular Dystrophy Canada and an unrestricted educational grant from Grifols Canada.

The application launches October 8th 2021, with a closing date of November 19. Details about the guidelines, eligibility, and instructions on how to apply are available here.

The NMD4C, MDC and CSCN are committed to empowering the next generation of neuromuscular researchers and clinicians; providing opportunities for early-career researchers and clinicians to grow in the field of neuromuscular diseases (NMDs) is key to advancing the care, research, and treatment of NMDs for all Canadians.

We encourage you to share this opportunity with your residents and clinical neuromuscular colleagues!
