Charles Drake Medal

The Canadian Neurosurgical Society encourages your nominations for the annual CNSS Charles Drake Medal, Lifetime Achievement Award.

This award is intended to recognize a senior neurosurgeon for their internationally recognized work in the field of neurosurgery and participation in the development of neurosurgery research and education in Canada.

Nominations can be submitted by any CNSS member and should include a letter of support outlining the nominee’s career contributions to neurosurgery and the nominee’s curriculum vitae, if available.  

Nominations can be submitted at any time with an annual deadline of April 15th. Nominations will be reviewed by a committee of the CNSS Executive.  

The winner will be invited to attend the CNSF Congress where the award will be presented at the annual CNSS dinner.
