2021 CNSF Congress Cancelled

COVID-19 Update | September 10, 2021

We have been diligently monitoring the rise in Covid-19-Delta and the resulting safety concerns for our October 2021 Congress Chairs, Speakers, delegates and all other Congress participants.

Many of the folks mentioned above have also expressed their concerns and several have withdrawn their participation.

The CNSF Board has decided to cancel the October Congress and move the Program to the QE in Montreal, June 26 to 29, 2022. This was a difficult decision but one that we felt was necessary in order to ensure the safety of all.

There are, obviously, many things we have to sort out going forward and these will be dealt with in the upcoming days and weeks. We hope you can be part of our 2022 Congress in Montreal.

Thank you for your support and understanding.

Note: Those who have already registered for the Congress will receive full refunds from the Registration office at Intertask Conferences.

International Delegates

Any International Speakers and Delegates, hoping to attend the CNSF Congress, are strongly encouraged to consult the Government of Canada website for the latest regulations regarding entry to Canada.

Travel restrictions may change with little warning and may include mandatory quarantine, COVID-19 testing and other requirements. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/coronavirus-covid19/travel-restrictions-exemptions.html

International delegates are expected to have their travel visa and any other documents required to leave their country and enter Canada, well in advance. The CNSF does not issue letters of invitation and cannot assist with this process. International delegates must adhere to the registration deadlines as indicated. Registration refunds are not granted due to inability to attend.

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) provides a list of countries for which visa restrictions apply, as well as all other pertinent information attendees may require before making any travel plans. International attendees should give themselves plenty of time as the entire application process can take several months. This can be done online via the IRCC website: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/visit-canada.html

Note that visa-exempt foreign nationals are expected to have an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) to fly to or transit through Canada. Exceptions include U.S. citizens, and travelers with a valid Canadian visa. Canadian citizens (including dual citizens) and Canadian permanent residents are not eligible to apply for an eTA.
